Barlow- Tadley *COMPLETED - thanks*

Have made good progress with research on my Barlow roots.

Am now stuck at Daniel Barlow (1783) and his wife Sarah. Have all census details back to 1841 when he was a farmer in Tadley.

Any suggestions as to where to go next gratefully received. All research so far done on line.

Daniel |Barlow baptised 6th april.1783. parents..Richard and Hannah Barlow.

Richard BARLOW burial 29th.July,1803.

there are other Barlow's in the Tadley records.

I am so sorry not to have responded earlier to this reply to my query. I'm afraid life took over for a while and I haven't had much time for my tree.I am, however belatedly, extremely grateful for your help with my research.

I note you mention other Barlows in the Tadley records. If I am forgiven can I ask - how can I access these?

My husband is descended from Daniel's brother Richard.

According to my records Richard c 12/4/1747 Tadley who married Hannah Harmsworth 4/9/1775 Tadley died 11/4/1817 Tadley.
It was Richard's farther Richard Barlow c 13/9/1723 Pamber and whom married Martha Rampton 22/12/1744 Tadley who was buried 29/7/1803 at Tadley.

I am related to Ruth Barlow probably born c1851 and daughter of Daniel Barlow from Tadley Hants.  She married Thomas John Carter, Annie Elizabeth born in Ramsdell Hants (my grandmother) and Thomas Carter born 1882.

I have Daniel Barlow bp 8/8/1826 Tadley died March qtr 1904 Basingstoke
he married Prudence Parsons 9/1/1850 Tadley.  Have found the family on 1851;1861;1871;1881 & 1891 census.  according to my records they had 13 children including Ruth bp 28/2/1851 Tadley who married Thomas John Carter 12/3/1881 at Basingstoke.
Are you looking for information for the Barlow family & if so what info in particular?

I suppose I am interested in any of the Barlows as the family tree my father created in 1950 only had the one child - Ruth - not 13 so I don't know of any of the others.  He also put that he married Prudence Pearce but that must be wrong.  I have no dates for births or deaths and would love to know more.  Will be putting this family tree on line and looking more closely from next week when I hope to  have more time.  Obviously I need to look at the Census as my father only had access to some birth and death records and it was incomplete in many ways (not least it was done before I was born!!!)
