Yes Tropic that must be him, I didnt know that he died so soon after my father,[born 1 year after him and died 1 year after him],my mother said that she thought he had a business in Alice Springs with his wife. Do you think there a chance that we can find his children.

hello there

you could get his death certificate that should list his childrens names,

I will try and contact the cemetery to see if there is a headstone that may offer a clue or two.

Well thank you so much for your time,Jenn. I was wondering if he married again because the children I remember must have been born around 1965,and I think Brenda might have been to old if they were married in 1937.

Hi Pebige
It's been a long time since this string last had news, however I stumbled across this string in my research into my home in a Brisbane suburb, named Auchenflower.
Eliza Frances Ockelford (nee Renton) DOB 1849, DOD 1929, purchased my home that I am living in today, in September 1922.  She was a widow at the time, her spouse Albert (DOB 1841 DOD 1907).
Probably not helpful in finding your uncle but interesting information!
