Birth lookup Greenwell

Hi
I'm looking for the birth of  William Greenwell b 1829 Shincliffe . On his marriage cert his fathers name is George occupation labourer. In 1841 he is with his mother  Ann but no mention of George. In 1851 he is with Ann and brother Thomas but no George. I'm trying to find out his mothers maiden name. On the census Ann  is down as being born at Ovington , Northumberland. Any help appreciated :)

A George Greenwell married an Ann Surtees 13th  August 1818 in Durham St. Oswald.
County Durham Marriage Index 1813-1837.

Brilliant  Thanks. Now that I know they were married in 1818 I will now try and look to see if there were anymore siblings

I have the same Family I think,I am looking for Thomas Greenwell Born 1831  born Durham. He married Mary Hunter in 1857 Father George  Labourer, Residence at time of marriage Shincliffe. Do you think it may be the same family Thanks Janet

It could be the same family William b 1829 was my GG Grandfather. He married Ann Douglas 26-6-1852. George and Ann are the furthest I've got to so far.

Hi Annie I think it is the same family as I have a photo of a man who first name I cannot remember but has the middle name of surtees Greenwell will check tomorrow have found a bap for Ann Surtees and all the siblings in Ovingham will send them to you if you would like them.
