I am researching the family of John morgan/s.
John was born about 1796 and died April 24th 1861. His first marriage was to Margaret Jones and she died at Glangwilly, Llanpumpsaint in 1830 aged 30 They had four children who survived
Elizabeth b 1818 who married David Davies,Dannycerrig, Llanpumpsaint
Thomas b about 1827 married Sarah Jones,Llanpumsaint
Richard b 1826 married to Rachel Griffiths, Llanpumsaint
David b about 1829 married Sarah Davies, Llanegwad
John later married Ann and they had children
Oliver b about 1834,
John b about 1836
Rachel b about 1839 and Charles b about 1846
John married his 3rd wife Sophiah Thomas nee Hughes, a widow with a son Thomas Thomas
John Morgan/s father was Richard and the family seemed to originate from Newchurch.

Pentrefynys, Abergwilly
Rhiwfelen, Abergwilly
Bwlchyronnen, abergwilly
Cwmgwilli farm and Mill Abergwilly
Clothiers Farm Llanpumpsaint
