John Richards wife surname was Williams. Their daughter Mary was born in 1850 at Wendron.

I had a look at the St.Keverne marriages and there are a couple of marriages for Richards and Williams.

John Richards (father John Richards)  married Eliza Williams ( father William Williams) June 1845.

John  Richards (father William Richards) married Elizabeth Jane Williams (father William Williams) May 1849.

Edwin Albert aged 28 Tin miner b. Kenwyn
Eliza Ellen his wife, aged 26 b. Illogan
Florence May, daughter, age 5 b. Illogan
Lillian Rose, daughter, age 2 b. Illogan
Federick Hy., son, aged 2 months, b. Illogan
Hi!
I am compiling a family tree and searching for ancestors of my Cornish grandmother, Florence May Trewin nee Moyle and grandfather A Ernest Trewin. I know nothing about my great grandparents except that they lived in Illogan. I think there was another sibling, Anita, born after Federick. Any information would be appreciated. S

Hi!
Thanks for the quick reply! Edwin Albert Moyle, if he is in fact my great grandfather, apparently all but disappeared according to my grandmother! My grandmother never discussed much and thus I am desperately trying to piece her part of the family together. I met her sister Lilian and knew of her other sister Anita and brother. I do have photos of my grandmother which I will look for and scan. I also have an address of where they lived. I have dates of death: Great grandmother Eliza Ellen Moyle: 18-12-1949, and my grandmother's siblings Anita Jane Moyle: 27-05-1965 and her brother Frederick: 21-01-1965 and Lilian Rose Moyle: 27-02-1978 but nothing for my great grandfather. Is the maiden name for Eliza Ellen Moyle, definitely Richards?  I would also like to trace my grandfather's Trewin side. S

I'll follow this up as I think this is my grandfather. He grew up in Camborne, eloped with my grandmother, Florence May Moyle, when they were about 16 and 18 years of age (?), he fought in WW1, and they ended up living in Portugal, Ghana and eventually settled in South Africa living into their late 90's. My grandparents died in the mid 1980's.
