           sorry i took so long answering you i've been on hols william thomas (father ) was a blacksmith journeyman dont know if it helps later on in years the son also became a blacksmith journeyman.his son my grandad was born in merioneth but his one sister was born in llanfaelog anglesey in 1895. and a brother was born in hollyhead in 1897 his name was owen thomas and the sister was lizzie j thomastwo other children both born merioneth in later years(maggie c and william) in 1901 they lived back in merioneth.

Hello Jere,

I checked for William Thomas Blacksmith in Aberffraw 1874 and found one William Thomas, Blacksmith address Trewalchmai.

I checked Llanfaelog 1895 and found only one William Thomas Listed as farmer in Penrhosedd.  Not the right chap ! no listings for Blacksmiths.

I looked at Holyhead 1897 - not listed and also no listing in the Directory for Merioneth.

There directories are often years out of date sometimes listing people after they have long after they have since died.
