This is a sort of long shot. I am looking for any info on Malcolm Rosie, born 1725 in stroma and his wife, Elspet Nans

Hi Frank I have a Murdoch Rosie 1742 Married to a Margaret Jack on the 12 Nov 1768 in Stoma in my tree. is that any help to you, I  too am looking for all the Rosie family's in Stoma, Murdoch & Margaret is my 4th great grand parents.

I think you would be better posting this on the Caithness board, or perhaps a moderator can move your message, as Stroma is part of Caithness rather than Orkney.
