Currently we are the only Heritage Centre providing a research service in County Cork.

Due to County Cork's size and large population in the 19th century, Mallow Heritage Centre holds over 1,000,000 ( one million ) entries in our database, making it the third largest record database in Ireland.

Because of the immense size of our database many people decide to begin the search for their Irish ancestors in our 46 parishes to determine whether their ancestors originated in the Cloyne Diocesan area and if not, to eliminate it from their research.
