certainly did Peramar. My feeling is he was passing through, the family trade was as Carriers / Carters (ie haulage?) mainly coal.
Wonder what they'd make of us speaking to each other over the ether???? Happy hunting

Contact the relevant County Archives they will have the licensing info, you might also find something in the newspapers which will be help at the relevant main library, too recent for the British Newspaper Archives website as most of their on line records only go up to mid 1950s

Incase you are still looking for information, when the pub blew up, it was on calendar news. They filmed on location and did a piece on the history of it. There may be some of this available somewhere and it may offer links to other information for you.
