Well........... I never thought a family could be quite so complicated - what a challenge it's turned out to be. I hope I can find out more about Simon Hancock, he's very interesting.
Sheila, you were right when you said it might not be straightforward in the begining. I am very grateful for all your efforts and Erics too, I never could have done it without you both.
So, it looks like any thoughts of being related to royalty are out then? Having said that, some of them married cousins etc.
I shall have a look at that website you mentioned Eric - the one with the Wrights directories in - incidentally my maiden name - now I wonder..........
