Ann Blunt - Llanferres about 1720?
« on: Monday 30 July 07 19:27 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for the baptism of Ann(e) Blunt or Blount about 1715-1725.  Ann married in Llanarmon yn Ial in 1743 and I would like to find her family if at all possible.
So far I've checked the PRs for Llanarmon yn Ial, Llandegla, Llanelidan, Llanfair DC, Bryneglwys and Minera but no luck.  If anyone has access to the LLanferres parish registers for that era I would be very grateful for a quick check of the index to see if she was baptised there.

Thank you

Heather

Many thanks William.  I don't need all the details - just need to know if she is there so I can order the book with the hope of finding more family!

Hello Heather
The only Blunt baptisms I could see 1700-1730
July 31 1726. Mary Blunt D/O Thomas & Sarah.
April 8 1729. Thomas. S/O Thomas & Sarah.

I did find an Anne Blunt baptised but she's a bit late.
Jan 21 1748. Anne Blunt D/O Mathew & Elizabeth. Abode Gwernaffield.

I did see her marriage but didn't take the details. Do you have them?

Paul

Hi Paul

Thank you very much for checking out the Blunts in Llanferres for my Ann.    I will keep a record of the information.  Perhaps Thomas & Sarah were her parents and had earlier children baptised somewhere else.

I had high hopes when I saw there were Blunts in Llanferres, according to the names from clywd website.   I do have Ann's marriage details from the Llanarmon yn Ial PRs thank you.  Both she and her husband John Carrington seem to be permanent brickwalls.     I have a hunch he was from Flintshire but haven't seen any suitable Blunts over that way!

Best wishes
Heather
