Deb,

Thought you were describing my behaviour there for a moment!  ;D ;D

One other thing.  If the computer goes offline for any reason, for more than 24 hours, there is a tendency to rage around the house shouting cries of frustration punctuated every now and then by "Rootschat!"  This is completely irrational behaviour for which there is no cure, and no intervention helps!  ;D

I do as much posting (& occasional research ) in the office when no-one's looking - I know I shouldn't but....
At home all I get is - "not on the computer again - you're becoming addicted" - but its true!
I suppose I could leave the wife, but she has got some very interesting lines to trace back...

Recently, when filling in an on-line form with my own details, I put 18.. instead of 19..  for my date of birth ;D
The site wouldn't accept it & it took me a few moments to work out why ;D ;D

Addicted to Family History? Who me? Never!!
