This is my first post - hope I do it right!!

My greatgrandfather Fisher Fisher also known as Thomas Fisher died 24 April 1904 in Eltringham, Northumberland.

I would be really grateful if some kind person could provide a transcipt of his death notice in the Evening Chronicle.

Fisher_ at Old Eltringham, on Sunday, April 24th, aged 51 years, Thos Fisher, for 28 years platelayer on NE Railway at Prudhoe, dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth Fisher. Deeply lamented and much respected by all who knew him. Interment at Mickley Churchyard on Wednesday 27th inst., at 3 o'clock. All friends kindly invited

Do the Newcastle Evening Chronicle records go up to 1914?

I have been trying to find the grave of my great grandfather without success, and thought maybe there was an obituary in the above paper or it could have been the Hexham Courant.

Surtees Armstrong died 12 September 1914 in Prudhoe. I think he may have been buried in Prudhoe Old Cemetery or Edgewell Cemetery and unfortunately I do not have access to these records.
