This is not really relevant, but an Isaac Blackadder lived in a cottage on what is now our farm (Ballynure parish) in the late 19th century.  It isn’t a name you come across every day!

1901 census with his wife Ellen and their grandson.

....and his probable death in 1906.

...and Ellen Blackadder in 1911 census.

Ellen Blackadder died in 1918 at Straid, Ballynure. According to the informant she was 69 , yet in the 1911 census she had already reached 83  ???

Hello, here is some information to help you.. the James Arbuckle that was born in 1826, was never married to Eliza Blackaddler.

This information should help anyone researching the line.
The the James Arbuckles is the one married to Blackaddler was born in 1801 and died in 1885 ad age 84. Married , lived and died in Lisnataylor, He was a laborer!

You can find this record, by using the last name as Buckles, not the records sometimes have variations of the names.   He was still married to Eliza and they lived in Lisnataylor  as also shown in the 1851 Census record.

His Wife Eliza didn't die until 1900 at age 86,  Widow records found using Arbuckles - Son-in-law Thomas Thompson witnessed he was married to Sarah Jane Arbuckles in June 2nd 1871.
