1841 census for Mary Bloomfield
« on: Saturday 11 August 07 02:21 BST (UK) »
Can anyone find Mary Bloomfield (Blomfield) c 1800 Stapleford, Essex in the 1841 census. Her sons Will c 1824, Mary Ann c1827 James c1829, Samuel c1833 were all born Stratford, Essex I think. I do not know who her husband is and am hoping the 41 census will tell me. Mary is in Stratford 51 and 61 as a beer housekeeper at the Nags Head, WestHam but without her husband. It does not say she is widowed .
Many thanks

Thanks Gar,
That is definately her.
I am beginning to wonder if she ever had a husband. Thats 3 censuses she is alone and again it doesnt say she is a widow or married. Very interesting. I wonder if West Ham Ward means anything?
Thanks for your help
