Have had no luck myself with limited resources. Need the parents Names

Have you tried www.familyhistoryonline.co.uk  there is a small charge but coverage for Sussex baptisms is very good.  alternatively you can try the Sussex Family History Group who do look ups for Sussex baptisms at http://www.sfhg.org.uk/baptisms.html

and the Sussex FHS does not cover the time period
So where to next?

I guess it will have to be the parish registers next.

Hi Sans,

I have a Henry Granger in my family that I am trying to find info on. Do you have any details about him and even though its a long shot could be a link?
The Henry I am looking for married a Margaret in the UK and had a child in Leeds called Joshua in 1848. They then moved to Durban, South Africa and had a second child called John Thomas in 1850. Might of had a third child called Harry? 

Could it be him?
