On the 1871 census Aaron Tovey age 41 was baptist minister of Silaem? Chapel, Westerleigh, Gloucester.  Can someone please check if he was there on the 61C

Thanks in advance

On the 1871 census Aaron Tovey was only 28 years old (b Westerleigh) living in Harris's Barton, Frampton Cotterell, Gloucestershire with his wife Hannah 26 (b Bromley Middlesex) and children Hannah 4, Charley 2 and Samuel 6 months all born Frampton Cotterell.

He is a Minister, is this the right person?

I'm very sorry, incorrect info.  I have just realised the Aaron Tovey I'm looking for was born in Westerleigh, Gloucester, abt 1830.  So would appreciate any help locating him on the 41 or 51 census.  I have located him on the 1871C in Llangattock.

I took a guess on Llangattock being in Wales rather than Gloucestershire and discovered the one you mean on the 1871 census.  I also discovered that he had a wife and a lot of children which helped to identify the family on the 1861 census.

1 Callen Place, Llangattock, Breconshire, Wales
Aron Surname is almost illegible, looks like Doray Head Mar 30 Baptist Minister Gloucestershire Westleigh
Ann Wife Mar 32 Brecon Beaufort
Rhoda daur 6 Scholar " "
Charles A son 4 " " "
Clara daur 1         " "
Florence daur 3 months    " "

Can't be sure this is your Aaron in 1841, but Winterbourn does seem to be very close to Westerleigh.  Also he doesn't seem to be part of the main family in the household.

Winterbourn Down, Gloucestershire
Joseph Tovey 25 Hat M. Y
Caroline 25 Y
