I have a Jane MARTIN who emigrated to Australia in 1851 (B: Abt. 1836). Her ship left Plymouth, Devon, England. According to her daughter Jane and her husband Silas Cole were regular churchgoers at a Presbyterian Church. I was wondering if it was possible without physically going to Ireland to search for her in Presbyterian Church records? How many Presbyterian churches are their in Ireland?

Can anyone offer advice?

Sorry Mary, I should have been more clear. Jane married her husband Silas in Australia but the state of Tasmania didn't introduce parents names of marriage/death certificates until the late 1800's (or thereabouts). What I would be looking for in a church is Baptism records, and anything else that might mention her or her family. She was in Ireland between About 1836 and 1851 (she emigrated from Plymouth, Devon, England, however she was born in Ireland). Thanks anyway.
