The Taylor family of Basingstoke in 1841
« on: Tuesday 04 September 07 08:23 BST (UK) »
Could some kind person please look up for me the The Taylor family of Basingstoke in 1841.

Not sure who will still be alive, but here is all the information I have.

William Taylor, not sure of date of birth as there are 4 within 15 years of each other on the IGI.

Wife Maria Tayloer nee Bridgeman, born in the Basingstoke area, once again there are two born within 10 years of each other, plus another two Mary Ann's.

Children, if they are still living with parents. All born Basingstoke.

Charles 1819

David 1822

Louisa 1826, she may be still at home, as she does not marry till 1844.

Henry 1829.

Any information would be much apprciated, as I would like to establish the parents date of birth if possible.

Regards

Clare

Hi
in trawling the net I came across this entry- which led me to join rootschat.com- who advised me how to make this reply. I realise that your enquiry is now well outdated but wondered whether we might assist each other or even be researching the same family.
My interest is in the origins of William Taylor born in 1834 in Basingstoke. I have most of his subsequent history but have met a brickwall in trying to trace his birth/baptism. All I do know is that his father was named Thomas and William's older brother was named Henry but did not survive.
Are you interested in what I have and/or can you help me in any way?
Thanks,
Fred Taylor
