there is a william morgan living at 37 mount street in 1861
there is a completely different family living at 13 mount street
william morgan is living with a margaret morgan.
if you want me to post the full entry for this couple i will happily do so
they have a son william born 1848. could this be the william who is with christina in 1881
RG9/4287/9/18/ 1861 census.

thank you so much..My Morgans are the ones at number 13..and if I can drag my mum out today we shall drive the 60 miles and have lunch in the local pub.. I live in the States so this would be a great way to finish my trip.. Thanks again

OH just re-read your post...possibly the William Morgan from 37 Mount St was 'my ' William's father...oh yes.. could you sent me those details too???? ::)

The trouble with my family is they didn't have much imagination when it came to names !!!!

On free bmd there is a marriage of a William Morgan and a Christiana Hughes, Dec Q 1867. Liverpool. 8b 248. Could this be them?
