« on: Sunday 09 September 07 17:59 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for Census details for a Minnie Green living in North Yorkshire, possibly Guisborough as she was born there.  Likely age to be around 5 (birth date circa 1896) at the time.

Any details most welcome,

Thanks

You are absolutely right!

That is the correct address, I remember my Grandfather telling me the address in Brotton, I didn't realise the family was so large!!!

This MAY link into my family, who I am having terrible trouble researching.

My grandfather was John Green (1914-1986), I have all his information, but nobody knows much about HIS father.

His father was also called John Green and all we know is he was born in approx 1886 (Maybe the son above?).    I have traced his marriage certificate and I know he married an Amelia Richardson in Skelton and was an Ironstone Miner  (again similar to the older John Green above).

There was also (at least) another child, the mysterious Nancy, born around 1916 and sister to the younger John, who walked out of the family house one day after a row and was never seen again.

I know that my Grandfather lived at 11 Robinson's Yard, Skelton at one point.

Neo, do you know of any link at all??
