just wondering if this is any relation to Fred & Lulu Pickup or John & Isabella Pickup who settled in Alberta in late 1800s, early 1900?

I certainly would have done if the Pickups were of particular interest to me, it's just that I have a book of local history in Alberta that includes some quite detailed information about the Pickup family, and I thought that the contributors to this thread might have been interested.
