Hello.  I am doing some Chamney research as I have an upcoming trip to Ireland this fall.  My mother was the daughter of Richard Greenley Chamney of East Wawanosh Township, Huron County.  Her only brother died as a youth and as children we did not know any of our Chamney cousins as I believe that my grandfather Richard was estranged from his family.  His father was Edward and his grandfather was Richard - the first to emigrate to Canada from Wicklow Ireland.  If you have any information about the Chamney line in Ireland, I'd greatly appreciate any information that you can provide.  Thanks cousins! I am on Ancestry.ca also and am happy to share any photos, stories, etc.
