Quite a few John Carpenter's so hard to know correct one.

It’s a long time since this post was active, but if you are still still looking for leads on William Carpenter, here is a link to the original record of his christening. Nothing new, date 24 May 1929, still citing his birthdate as 29th Feb!

Thanks Drinks. I am now not so sure that he came to Aus on the Fever ship Ticonderoga. It could be him but this person states he was from Somerset, not Devon
