Hi all

Cat, perfect summary & yes that's the only Henry I can find in 1851 that seems likely too. There are a few in Manchester in 1841 but none that I can find in Ashton.

Lydart, could be a Cantor although it definately says Canter. No real history of Catholics in my family but then again, you never know!

Toni, I'll have to have a quick look into the death of Lillah, seems a strange place to be & ditto the marriage of Alice & Henry (would mean that she would have to move to Norfolk remarry To A Fowell, he'd have to die & then they all move back, but hey you never know with my family!). I'm quite liking the idea that Lilian ran off to be a singer & left her husband to live in sin with another  woman & raise her kids- it's a cool story! ;D

Thanks all for help & suggestions

Hi NicoC, the Francis Henry Lee Street born 1891. His father is Henry James Wareham Street 1864-1940 and his mother is Lilian Street (Frisby) 1868-1935, are my Great Grand Parents. I do know Henry James Wareham Street had a family with Alice McCrohon 1868-1934. I have been trying to find out why Henry and Lilian split up but I do know my Grandad Francis Henry Lee Street lived with my Great Great Grandma Eliza Street (Wareham). I hope this helps.
