Melrose - Lockie/Herbert

Looking for any information on the following family.

Thomas Lockie b.1866 Melrose and died 1947 Station Rd. Melrose was a Rtd. Gardener at that time.
Married a Elizabeth Fowler Linton (b. 1867 Selkirk) in 1895 Selkirk.  Elizabeth died 1938 Station Rd. Melrose.

Only one child that I know of, Isabella Fairgrieve Lockie b. 1898 Selkirk, possibly married a John Herbert after 1931, no details on "scotlandspeople" before that, he was wit. to the above Thomas's death as son in law.

They are in my wife's maternal tree and she remembers John Herbert as running a garage at Melrose in the 40's.

Any information, MI etc gratefully recieved.

John Herbert, Chauffeur, 34, Station Rd. Melrose & Isabella Lockie, Clerkess, 30, Station Rd. Melrose.  Married Jan.1929 Parish Church, Melrose.

John born 13/3/1894 Yetholm, mother Ellen Herbert (widow of George Pringle).

John died 1970 Melrose and Isabella died 1969 Melrose, any children ?
