Elizabeth Davies-Trewern 1809-1910
« on: Tuesday 25 September 07 19:00 BST (UK) »
Does anybody know where Elizabeth Davies is buried?
She died in 1910 aged 101 and was on the censuses from 1841-1901 in Trewern.
Her husband,John and sons were blacksmiths in the village for generations.
Thanks
John Taylor

Hi tay
I am too researching my 'Davies' families.
My great grandmother Margaret Davies was born 1879 in pembrokeshire.
I found them on the 1891 census and it ties in with her birthcertificate.
her Father was John Davies born 1842-46 in Pembrokeshire.  He was a blacksmith
earlier census's seems he was living with his possible father John Davies born 1822 pembrokeshire.
This john had a sister called Elizabeth born about 1803 in pembrokeshire.
her parents seem to be evan and martha davies
martha had four children which she named 'evan' as surnames so either this has been transcribed incorrectly or she had them before she married then had 5 more children.
