Simeon Bassick, Worsley, Manchester

 Can anyone help with finding out more information on Simeon Bassick born in Worsley 1820.

He's listed on various sites as Simeon Bassick [and Bassick is the family name] but his marriage certificate has his surname as Bestwood [his father's name on the certificate is E Bestwood] but on a birth certificate of one of his sons, the surname is listed as Bassett.  I have a lot of information about the family from his marriage in Wolverhampton to a Harriet Cresswell in 1845 but nothing about his birth, any siblings [if he had any] or his parents.
