Randolph Smales

I put a request out a while ago for any help with tracing Ronnine Smales who I believed died in the 2nd world war, I have recently found out from an uncle visiting from Australia that he had heard the name Randolph and I wondered it Randolph and Ronnie are the same person.  Randolph or Ronnie was the adopted elder brother of my mother I believe he was born about the early 1920s.  Any help or advice would be of greatly appreciated. I believe Randolph or Ronnie was born and lived in Wakefield West Yorkshire.

Many thanks for any help or information - I know there is very little information to go on.
