Can't see any Rogers buried St. Leonards Loftus, but there are 4 at St. Michaels, Liverton, near Loftus, don't know if they would be related...

Hi Barbara,

Yes I found the Rogers at Liverton, but I have no way of knowing if they are my family.  Need to find my John and Hannah which may give me at least a father's name.

Thanks.

Hi Jane,

What have I started.  Wish I could come too.

John and Hannah's children were -

    Margaret -born Easington 1817.

    Thomas - christened Lythe 7.6.1820

    William - christened Lythe 22.7.1822.

     John - Christened Lythe 31.10.1824.

     Mary - christened Lythe 10.4.1827.

In relation to the William and Elizabeth Rogers of East Row, I think these are the parents of the other John Rogers.

Did you receive my earlier message with my email address on it?

Many thanks, happy hunting.

Val

Does anyone know about the general local history of East Row in the 1700s?  My folks were there for that whole century (surnames Linton, Stonehouse, Graham).  Would love to have an idea what life was like.
