Hi

Would be most grateful if someone could assist with an 1841
Census look-up please ?

HEASMAN :     (May be spelt as "HAISMAN"  /  "HEUSMAN"
                            or other variant)

William (25),  Jane Elizabeth - wife (22),  children -  Jane E.
Mary Ann, and possibly, Ann Amelia ?

Parents married at St. Dunstans, Stepney, London,  1836.
[Ages above, are taken from 1841 (Sept/Oct) passenger list, voyage to Australia] :

Think I've found them.

1841 - St. Anne Limehouse, Middlesex.

William Heaman    24     Turner J.          Not born Middlesex
Jane Heaman        22                            Not born Middlesex
Jane Heaman         2                             Born Middlesex

Jane Elizabeth Heasman's birth registered Sept. 1838 Poplar

Annette

Well done !   You've found them ~ many thanks - and also for the details of Jane E's birth.

"HEAMAN"  ~ yet another interesting spelling ?

[Had hoped the child "Ann Amelia" might appear in 1841
~ she was baptised with her sister Jane E. at St. Dunstan, Stepney on 12 April 1840 ~ it seems though that she must have died before her parents went to Australia.   Ah, well, will have to do another search for her].
