The problem occurs when I click 2, 3, 4, etc so I guess simple. But today is OK because I'm on page 2 now. It's not so much of a problem for me because I just come back later.  Sometimes I don't Log in I just check. Maybe this is the answer.

I didn't need to log on this morning so the very first thing I did was to compare the situation now with what was happening in the wee small hours. It seems to be the same.
My browser is I/E6.02900.2180 running on Windows XP Home'
When my cursor enters the area at the top of the page where the ads are, the arrow changes to a hand but clicking on any ad brings nix. I think it has always been like that ever since I joined Rooschat.
I have no acceleration software unless someone has planted it without my knowledge.
When the search returns multiple pages the first page is shown [1] and the rest are in reddy/brown colour. When the cursor travels over the red numbers nothing happens but when I click on a red number the arrow changes to hand but nothing happens otherwise.
The situation is the same whether simple or advanced search is used.
Oh and I have no problem sequencing pages in a thread. It's just search where the gremlin applies.
I hope this helps Trystan. I am sure we are not grumbling at you or anyone and I hope that helps too ;D
It could be self-inflicted by cookies etc too ::)

Hi Trystan,

Like the others I'm using;

1.Internet Explorer 5
2.Window 98 SE
3.Ads work fine
4.Only additional running software:Zone Alarm,AVG Anti Virus

Mick ;)

Hi,

For the past couple of days I have been trying to use the "Search Rootschat" option. I can read the first page of posts fine but when I try to click on following pages nothing happens.

Any ideas or is it just me :-\

Thanks,

Frances :)

Me too, so there's clearly some technical issue at the RootsChat end, and not on our pcs!
