Hi,

wonder if anyone knows where we should start looking-  all the information that we have is that Adam Henderson died Canada 28.9.1891 age 35 and was born in Dumfriesshire , Scotland.

We would really like to know if he was married etc and where abouts in Canada he lived.

Hmm, no Adam Henderson born Scotland in the 1881 Canadian censuses aged about 25 - one of about the right age but born in Ontario and ethnicity Irish!  Do you have him in any of the Scottish censuses or have the names of other family members who might have also gone to Canada?

Was there a middle name for Adam? What about the names of the parents, just in case we luck out and it was Ontario? Do you know where in Dumfries?
