I have found the following -of course it is only speculation, marriage cert will give Albert's father.

If the birth reg found for Albert is the correct one - mother's maiden name Sanderson - then this is a possible marriage for his parents

marriage
Albert William Wharton
Gertrude Sanderson
Sept qtr 1908
Bradford
Yorks
9b 61

I know this marriage is in Yorks, but there is a grimsby connection

this could be Albert (father of your Albert William)
1891
19 Poynter St
Holy Trinity
Yorks
Robert R Wharton Head M 29 Watchmaker b. Grimsby Lincs
Hanna E wife 30 b. Poplar London
Albert son 5 b. Grimsby Lincs
Lillian daughter 4 b. Grimsby Lincs
Edith daughter 1 b. Grimsby Lincs

RG12 3943 127 23

1901
Mary Vale Road
Kings Norton
Worcestershire
Robert R Wharton head M 39 Watchmaker and repairer b. Grimsby Lincs
Hannah wife 39 b. London
Albert V son 16 Watchmakers Assistant b. grimsby Lincs
Lillian daughter 14 b. Grimsby lincs
Edith daughter 11 b. Grimsby lincs

RG13 2805 117 26

Will leave it for now - please post details of any certificates you can get hold of -and names of half siblings (please do not post details of any living person) and we can take it from there

Just been checking births and the Albert in the census may be Albert Victor Wharton -he is Albert W in 1891, Albert V in 1901
Only Lincs birth I can find about that time is Albert Victor!

looking forward to further information

Are you looking for "Wharton" in Grimsby Lincoln UK ??? I got a family tree going all the wat back to John Wharton (B) 1711 with Wharton all coming from in the Grimsby area...I come from Edwin Farr Wharton (B) 1885 Grimsby, that left the UK for Australia...
