MARY DOROTHY JANE WOOD
« on: Friday 19 October 07 20:35 BST (UK) »
I need details of the marriage of WOOD (b1917) to (DOUGLAS??) JENNINGS at EAST ASHFORD 4th qtr 1938 2a 4031. I don't know if Douglas was his first or second name and I don't know his age. I believe he was killed in India during the war.

Start with the easier routes first. Given the scenario..

What candidates are there on www.cwgc.org ?

If it helps, I think the marriage was probably at Kennington parish church - at least I have relatives who have a marriage listed on the Kent Registration Services site with the same C28 (Ashford area) ref. and that's where they married.

To resurrect this old thread:-

Mary Dorothy Jane Wood was married at Kennington - She was my great Aunt and grew up in The Street, Kennington. She married a George Wall after Leslie Jennings was killed 27th June 1941 and he is buried in the CWG Cairo.

I have a photo that may be Leslie Jennings.
