Hi Paul

Thanks for the info - it looks like a bit of a family name!!

The Ellis Wynne baptised 1781 ties in exactly with his burial in 1831 aged 50.

What we really need now are siblings born between 1806 and 1810 but as Ellis Wynne who married 1806 was described as 'of this parish' (ie Chester) it seems reasonable to look in Cheshire and I will post there.

I may come back to you on this if you don't mind but will see what Cheshire brings.

In the meantime thanks once again.

hello, I have just recently discovered this siteand wonder if you could help me.  my 3xgreat grandfather was William Benjamin who married Elizabeth Wynne.  unfortunately they do not appear to be on either the 61 or 71 census.  I know of three definite children: Edward, Joseph[mygreat, great grandfather] and Elizabeth, I also believe Charles is their brother but am not sure of this and if there were any more.  I would be most grateful for any additional information you may have thank you

Hello jenlouk.
There is a marriage for a William Benjamin to Elizabeth Wynne Gwernaffield 1847. Births of Edward, Joseph, Elizabeth, Eleanor and Charles Benjamin in Mold is this them?
What info do you and have what sort of things are you looking for?

Paul

Hi Paul & Jenlouk

The Benjamins & Wynnes were my ancestors and I have loads of info on them.
I am sending a personal message to Jenlouk and suggest that if I cannot help him/her enough they can repost. Thanks Paul for your offer.

thanks so much for your reply, i am having trouble at the moment with the messaging service so hope that you don't get blank e mails! I had thought that there were more children but had no idea there were so many, what a revelation! I have gone back to 1730 with the Benjamin family, if that is any help to you, but have been stuck with William and Elizabeth's children for ages despite various trips to the flintshire record office, so would be grateful for any help.
kind regards jenny
