Ann Philipson (nee ?) b. 1829 - Sadbergh
« on: Monday 29 October 07 18:53 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I am trying to find out more about Ann b. in 1829 in Sadbergh.
She married Edward Philipson (b. 1824) on (I think) 11 Aug 1850, but unsure of location and not 100% on the date!). She then had 8 children named: Sarah Ann, John, Mary Ann, Edward, Thomas, George, William, Louisa.
That's all i have to go on i'm afraid. I would like to find out more about her and possibly who her parents were so any help at all would be much appreciated.
Many thanks, regards, Erica.

Hi Erica,

The IGI has a submitted marriage record for Edward Philipson and Mary Ann Walmsley on 11 Aug 1850 in Lancashire (Lancaster registration district) but I'm not sure they belong to you - your Edward still seems unmarried in 1851  ???

This marriage seems more likeky:
Dec 1853 Kendal 10b 775
John Philipson to possibly Ann Wilson

Will have a look on census now  :)

Hi,
Have just read the thread. I am descended from this family too and  as far as I know Ann's (Wilson's) mother's maiden name was Richardson.
