Looking for the marriage of Edward Daniel Mainwaring to
Ann Louisa Prosser or possible entry on the 1901 census
for this couple.  Daniel was born in Abercarn in 1865 and
Ann in Dixton 1872.  Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for that.  I am puzzled by this couple as I can't find a
child born until about 1907/08.  So far as I know they had four (4) children, Ivor Clement Mainwaring, George Henry Mainwaring, William Mainwaring & Arthur Mainwaring.  If you
come across any of them in your travels I would appreciate
hearing from you.  When I started with this family I was of the opinion that they would not be hard to find as this was
a name I had only come across once before. However, it seems like there were a good number of them around.

Roaming Gran - I went to school with Glyn Mainwaring in Monmouth, he had quite a few brothers and sisters, and lived somewhere between Monmouth and Raglan.  Not sure how common the name is around here, but he was the only one I knew.
Plenty of Prossers still around the town.  cheers Fred
