Hi,I have been thru the 1841 for Standon Parish and this is the only family that fits the criteria. The surname as been clearly entered as Garner but I would think this is a mistake.
HO107/434/10  Wades Mill,Standon
James Garner            age30    ag labourer
Ann        "                     25
Emma     "                     10
Alfred     "                       8
Henry     "                       6
George    "                      4
John       "                      1
All born in the County.Ages above 15 rounded up or down to nearest 5.
Also living in Standon at a place called Youngsbury which I would assume was a large house judging by the amount of staff is Elizabeth Gardner, age 25,female servant.

Mainly researching the Lees from Herts but also compiling a one name study of Culverhouse

Thanks for looking that up for me Pete, is there any chance of being able to tie that up with the same family in 1851, perhaps we could get the same christian names to match Gardner which would make the 1841 results more conclusive. Cheers Rob
