I have just checked my file and I have a William Runciman born aprox 1804 Dunbar.  This is taken from the 1851 census and so far is all the information I have.  I did try searching for him but got no results.  He would have been about 12 when your Agnes married George Fortune if that census entry is correct.

Dunbar isn't a huge place so it is entirely possible there is a connection if he does actually come from Dunbar.
