is Ancrum part of Roxburghshire?
« on: Saturday 10 November 07 18:20 GMT (UK) »
Hello to Roxburghshire members

I have just found out that a ggg grandmother was born in Ancrum.  When I have looked at the GENUKI info it tells me it is part of Roxburghshire yet I cannot find it in the list here at the top of the forum.

Is Ancrum part of Roxburghshire please - if not where do I go next as I cannot see it highlighted as one of the parishes.

Yours

Yes,

The Genuki info is correct.  Ancrum which is situated 4.5 miles from Jedburgh is definitely part of Roxburghshire.  If you Google it - it'll confirm it.  Below is a link to a local website.
