Help needed to sort my Stephenson's

Now did John Stephenson 1822 marry a Mary Urwin
Or is this another John??

And was John 1822 his Father a Joseph Stephenson if so has anyone got any information on him

Hi Janice,

Have you got them all on the relevant census?  If not,  which ones do you need? - (to save time and duplication).
That may help to see who's married to whom.  You could always get the marriage cert (John & Hannah - assuming it's after 1837) to see who was John's father.

Thomas Stephenson 1848 married to Jane Dormand were my Gt Grandparents.
Its John 1822 married to Hannah Siddle if you have 1841/1851 census that would be great,also John and Mary Urwin I'm lost with this one,I think I've got families mixed up.So many Stephenson's!!!

Wonder if this was John's brother or uncle? Was hoping he'd be with his parents, but not, and no relationships shown in 1841

Yes I agree the marriage cert would be a good idea,I haven't looked at my Stephenson's for a while got stuck so moved to other names.I dont know where Mary Urwin came from!! But I have got John Stephenson Mary Urwin with children.

My Spences are mainly from Yorkshire, I see Alice & Thomas married in Sunderland, so no connection there.

Can't see a John with a Hannah after 1851.
There is a death for a Hannah Stephenson in Easington 1853 and another in 1859.

By 1861 census it looks as if he had married again, about 1855-6ish, but whether it was Mary Urwin ?:

Baptism for John Stephenson in Easington St. Mary the Virgin 17th October 1858 parents John Stephenson & Hannah

Burial for Hannah Stephenson in Easington St. Mary the Virgin 14th Nov 1859 aged 36

Strangely, there's a baptism for a Carolina Stephenson, 1st June 1856 same place, parents Thomas Stephenson & Mary, so wonder if that's the Mary that married John?.
