hi all :) i was wondering if someone could help me please ???,
I'm trying to trace the harding family :),
1901 census;
George harding 47 born chailey
marione harding 17 born chailey [dau]
and so on.
1891 census;
George harding 35 maresfield district :-\ [confusing birth dates]
marian harding 7    maresfield district :-\
and so on.
what i wish to know is  :) who was George married to, when were they married, when did his wife die ???, and also if you help me place where & when George died.
any help in this matter would be most helpful and most gratefull.
same as before if anybody needs help with fletching Sussex
i will try and help.

As it looks as if George married & was widowed between the censuses of 1881 & 1891 your best bet is to get a copy of the daughters birth certificate which will give her mothers name.  There is a birth registration on FreeBMD for Marion Harding Q1 1884 Lewes registration district (of which Chailey is a part) (2b 291)
There are also birth registrations for David Harding Q1 1882, Lewes (2b 181) and George Harding Q3 1882, Lewes (2b 179) do any of these fit into your family?
There is a marriage on FreeBMD of a George Harding Q2 1881 (this would be after the 1881 census) Lewes (2b 291) & there is an Ellen Day on the same page.  No sighting of the death of an Ellen Harding though on FreeBMD (which is not complete)  This is purely speculation on my part so I really think you need to get that birth certificate,
