John Yeaman, Kirriemuir, document
« on: Thursday 30 December 04 18:07 GMT (UK) »
Amongst some solicitors' papers I bought [see posting for Challinor & Shaw under Staffordshire] was the following disposition.  Is this of interest to any Yeamans?

Summary:
Draft trust disposition and settlement to regulate the disposal of his estate [16 pages] by John Yeaman, saddler, of No 3 High St, Kirriemuir in favour of his three sons, John Edward, James Petrie and William, and also to James Bell Johnson, draper, Arbroath – 1896

Hi,

Not sure if you are still on-line or not but I was sent this link by another researcher as I have the people mentioned in your message in my database.   I am connected through the marriage of John Stewart Yeaman's sister Margaret to James Keith, and his sister Mary Ann Coutts Keith to John Soutar Shepherd who is the uncle of Mary Ann Mitchell who married David Doig Waddell who is my 1st cousin 2* removed.

If you are still there I would love to hear about the disposition that you have of John Stewart Yeaman.

John

John,
I sent you the link.
I have emailed you, so if you would like this doc please respond to that, or by a private message.
It is effectively a will, handwritten.
Regards,

Hi Joe,
I have mailed the document to John.
Hopefully it will have something useful in it and that John will share it with you if so!
Best wishes,
Charles
