A possible death for him in 1927, Thurso, aged 73 - on Scotlands People.

Iaccessed that death but it wasn't him.

found his second marriage - in Glasgow.
Married on 21/12/1894 to Mary Mackay, daughter of Hugh Mackay and Barbara Mackay. His address at time of marriage is given as Station Hotel Wick and his occupation looks like Hotel Boots!

I think they were kind of porters/cleaned shoes did the fetching and carrying.

Well, apart from his death, you have most of his life  :D
