Hi Tim,

This was the death record for Harry Edward Green - locating an Obituary for him may lead you to descendants. If nothing else pans out and noone finds the Obituary on here - perhaps contacting the Winnetka - Northfield Library Branch might be an option, they have a chat online or e-mail facility.

Harry Green
Born 19 September 1911 and Died in April 1987
Last Residence: 60093  Winnetka, Cook, Illinois,
SSN issued: Ohio (Before 1951)

All the Best

Hi Tim,

This was the husband of Ruth Green/Bronnenburg/Bronnenberg

Melvin Bronnenberg. Born 9 January 1905 and Died December 1983
Last Residence: 46017  Anderson, Madison, Indiana,
SSN issued: Indiana (Before 1951)

There is a RAOGK Volunteer in Madison who will do Obituary Look Ups so that could be worth an e-mail.  Melvin and Ruth did have a daughter 1 year and 1 month old in 1930 so it may give further information on her or other siblings which were born after 1930.

Good Luck
Sandra  ;)

The same RAOGK volunteer may be able to help you with an Obituary for Ruth which may name the descendants.

Interested to read the messages of this thread. I am a member of the Frampton Cotterell Local History Society and we are in the process of producing a second volume of old photographs of the area. One of the pictures that will include in the book is a photograph of William Green's son Harry on a visit to Frampton Cotterell to see the house of his ancestors. I would like to include the names of all of the people in the photo, who I believe are his wife and daughters. Can anyone supply a bit more info?

Hi Ian

Welcome to Rootschat! :)

I have notes that Harry married Molly Morse LEACHMAN and had three children but no details.

According to the Ohio GenWeb project pages (alumni of Central High School) he went to Princeton.  Graduated class of 1933, address 1602 E Chestnut Street, Coshocton, Ohio http://www.e-yearbook.com/yearbooks/Princeton_University_Bric_A_Brac_Yearbook/1933/Page_45.html

Kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Hello!
Nellie Green was my great-grandmother! She ended up marrying a man named Joseph Shepler and had two children:
William E. Shepler
Nancy Shepler

William is my grandfather. He's currently 91 years old and a WW2 veteran.
