Hi
Thankyou for all the information, im now trying to go through everything ive received in the last couple of days so i can add it to my tree.

Is there a way of finding out via further details on the marriage of William Walter Roberts Fursmans to Annie Hussey final quarter of 1885 in the district of BRIDPORT  GRO VOL 5a Page 805

Would that possible give signatures of his parent or parents? As you listed elizabeth fursman as mother father unknown?

Is there anywhere online i could find this information, even though ive been looking into the tree for a long time im still learning bit by bit and muddling along with it all.

Have just joined this web page and see that you have been researching a family member of mine - Joseph and Rose Fursman and their family. I looked at the last date and it was 2007. Wonder if you are still looking for the Fursman family?

I also have William Walter Roberts Fursman on my tree.  I see that Lisa has not logged in here since 2009 so she may have answered the questions she posted, but I may be able to help on one of them.

I am also looking for who was the father of William Walter Roberts Fursman.

Blacklamb - it is not that long since you logged in, are you still researching the Fursman family?

I am also looking for who was the father of William Walter Roberts Fursman.

Previous posts make it almost certain that William was illegitimate, so your best hope is to find a bastardy order naming the father.

Mother's often include the father's surname when baptising their child so, unless you know other reasons, 'Roberts' must be a possibility. In your case there are two middle names, so I might start my search looking fior a Walter Roberts, although I can't see any obvious candidiates in the 1861 census.

Unfortunately not, Roberts is a surname on his mother's side of the family.

I'd like to private message you, but I can't seem to find out how to.  Suspect you have to make a number of posts before you can.

Sorry about the Roberts.

You only need to make three posts before you can send PMs, so you should be fine now.
