Does anyone have information about the occupants of Bradshaw Hall in Aspull near Wigan from 1800 to 1850?

Many thanks for your prompt reply! Do you know anything about this Yates family or how they came to live at Bradshaw Hall? Obviously they were farming/labouring at the farm there? I believe that Bradshaw Hall was owned by John Smith Esq in 1797 - he paid taxes on it. Did any Bradshaws live there between 1797 and 1841?

Hi,

I'm sorry I don't know anymore about this YATES family, I can't even find them in 1851.

I did see that John PENDLEBURY lived at Bradshaw Hall in 1851  HO107/2198  f.375  p.26  (let me know if you would like this transcribed) and although it's later than the dates you mention I thought this may interest you, it may coincidence about the names or not :-\

If you e-mail Lancashire Record Office they can send you a photocopy of the document (for a fee depending on the document) and/or do a search for a fee.
