Hello Jan,  Here's the info + more for you to sift through.......

Toddington burials of Sarah STEVENS/STEPHENS
13 Apr 1706 , daughter of John Stivens [Steevens]
 5 Nov 1729 , spinster
30 Apr 1733 , wife of William Stevens, tailor
18 Oct 1741 , wife of William Stevens, labourer
19 Jan 1758 , poor

+ there is a burial of William Stevens on 30 Mar 1753 - but no occupation !

other burials
14 Jan 1732 John Stevens, labourer, poor
24 May 1733 Grace Stevens, poor
15 Sep 1740 Mary, wife of Thomas Stevens, labourer
15 Jul  1746 Thomas Stevens
28 Apr 1755 Martha Stevens, poor
21 Jun 1757 Rebecca Stevens, poor
12 Jun 1761 Mary Stevens, poor

The Toddington baptisms are as you listed them. The only other bit of info is that on the last three; Elizabeth, Francis & Ann (* no e) their father's occupation is down as labourer.
Also on 9 Oct 1723 - Jane, daughter of William & Sarah Moulser was also baptised - might mean they are related - or not.

The two Barton marriages yield no futher clues, no other info other that the 1726 it says they were both from Barton.

Regards John

Thanks once again John. More for me to puzzle over. Given that there appear to be two Williams in the village they might have entered an occupation for the 1753 death!
