Hi Spacot

Thank you for taking the time to look at Burnside MI,s.  The info you have provided may connect one day as I am sure all the Burnsides in that area will be connected but I cannot connect them to my tree at present.  I have from SP James Burnside died 1856 Thornton,Innerwick and his son also James Burnside died 1891 Garvald as they are not mentioned on your list of MI,s I think they must have been buried without stones.   I visited Garvald cemetery 5years ago with no luck,a lot of the stones are so weathered.

Curious about your Burnside connections, just incase we connect.

Do you mind if I send some other names along, most of my ancestors where from East Lothian.

Hi again,

Thank you again for all of those, I've kept a note of them and will need to look through them to see if there are any connections. :) My Browns were mainly Dunbar, so I don't think they would be included in any of the records.

Thank you once again,
hume24 :)

Generous offer Spacot, thank you.  My great great grnadfather, John Young appears in the 1841 Census for Crowhill, Innerwick but then disappears (along with one son David) byt he 1851 census.  His wife and younger sons are still there but listed as paupers.  I assume he died between 1841 and 1851 but have been unable to find a record.  Could you check your MIs for me please?

I was wondering if you would be able to look up the following names in the Yester/Gifford area - Dickson/Wood/Thompson.

Many thanks and look forward to hearing from you
